With a nationwide shortage of Personal Protection Equipment, health providers are looking for any help they can get.

That's why the Montana State Fund made a donation Friday of 1,000 N-95 masks to the Department of Public Health and Human Services.

From there DPHHS can then hand out the masks as need to high-need areas.

Which at a time like this is a critical donation.

"N95 respirators are highly important pieces of medical material that we're seeking at this time," said Colin Tobin with DPHHS. "There is a national shortage, as everyone is well aware of, so every little bit helps and we'll try to get these out as quickly as possible to our local partners to help fight the COVID-19."
