Big Horn County added three confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Saturday afternoon, according to a press release from the county health office, which brings the total number of cases to 29.
One person was tested through sentinel surveillance testing events during the week of May 18, while two were tested as a result of contact with previously-tested positive patients.

Big Horn County has reported 29 total cases, 21 of which are active. The other eight cases have recovered. Of the 21 active cases, 20 are quarantining and recovering at home, while one patient is hospitalized.
The Big Horn County Public Health Department and Indian Health Service Public Health Nursing are currently tracing the contacts of the new cases.
IHS Public Health Nursing and Big Horn County Public Health want to remind all residents of Big Horn County of the best ways to prevent the transmission of this illness: stay home; wash your hands thoroughly and often; clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces and items; wear a mask when in public; stay at least six (6) feet away from other people; and avoid travel out of the County if at all possible. And if you are feeling sick, do not go to work or leave your home; rather, contact your healthcare provider for guidance.

MTN is reporting one fewer total case and one fewer recovered case due to a case in Jefferson County that local health authorities report involved a patient who was not in the state.
