An additional COVID-19 related death has been confirmed in Missoula County.
The Missoula City-County Health Department (MCCHD) is reporting that an older adult, male, aged 70 years or older has passed away.
This marks the third COVID-19 related death that MCCHD has reported on Tuesday.
"The Missoula City-County Health Department is deeply saddened to report that another Missoula County resident died today from complications due to COVID-19. This death is in addition to the two deaths reported earlier today," a news release states.
MCCHD reports that to date, a total of 24 county residents have died from COVID-related complications.
A total of 2,552 COVID-19 cases have been recorded to date in Missoula County as well as 1,774 recoveries.
