BOZEMAN — A Bozeman man faces intimidation charges after reportedly threatening a Bozeman police officer.

Jordan Fritz appeared in Gallatin County Justice Court Monday morning, where his bail was set at $75,000.

The incident happened on Friday when Bozeman PD responded to calls of a man at 19th Avenue and Baxter Lane screaming at cars and pointing finger guns at people.

The reporting officer said in court documents that Fritz ignored warnings to stop the behavior and was arrested for disorderly conduct.

As the officer transported Fritz to the detention center, Fritz allegedly began repeatedly swearing at and threatening the officer, going as far as saying he would kill him.

Fritz faces up to 10 years in prison.
