BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Bozeman Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a big event Wednesday, highlighting the growth of the area economy.
It was the chamber’s annual Economic Development Regional Update Seminar.
The focus: bring as many people in Bozeman and the rest of Gallatin County to one place, at Bozeman’s Best Western, to talk about that growth.
The chamber director, Daryl Schliem, said Gallatin County continues to lead the state in economic growth, particularly, with Bozeman at the helm of local expansion.
Schliem added that it is a good way to make sure those in the county know what is going on in the areas around them.
“I think people are interested in their community, wanting to know the direction we are going but I think more so there is a lot of people that we are hearing, I think 115 months of real economic gain here in the Gallatin Valley area,” Schliem said.
More than 100 people represented different organizations from across the county at the seminar.
