BOZEMAN – The Bozeman Fire Department is hosting an open house from 5 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday as a way for people to meet local firefighters and tour Fire Station #1.
City Communications Coordinator Melody Mileur wrote in a press release, “The event provides an important opportunity for Bozeman community members to tour Fire Station #1, a station that would be sold if the bond for the Bozeman Public Safety Center were to pass at the November election”.
"Well, it is an opportunity for the community to see firsthand the fire station as it sits today,” said Fire Chief Josh Waldo.
“There is a lot of discussion for the need for the new Public Safety Center and sometimes the best way to understand it is to see it firsthand,” Waldo said.
