A 37-year-old Bozeman woman was rescued Sunday morning after she was injured while hiking at Gallatin Tower.
According to the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office, the rescue operation started at 10:30 a.m.
Gallatin County Sheriff’s Deputies and Search and Rescue personnel, Gallatin Gateway Fire Department, as well as Reach Air Medical Services, responded to retrieve the woman, injured when she lost consciousness falling onto rocks. Rescuers were able to locate the woman and transport her to an awaiting ambulance.
