BOZEMAN – The city is having a consultant take an in-depth look at its Neighborhood Conservation Overlay District (NCOD) in order to implement changes in the future.
The NCOD was created in 1991 to conserve neighborhood character and protect historic properties.
Communications Coordinator Melody Mileur released a press release today stating Bozeman’s significant growth has the city reevaluating the NCOD.
The city has hired consultant team BendonAdams and Orion Planning + Design to do a comprehensive review of the NCOD and give recommendations for changes for the city to implement. The team will look at the city boundaries, historic preservation program, and the advisory board.
The review will take place July 13-24.
