BOZEMAN- Gallatin County continued its long-standing tradition of holding a Summer Farmer’s Market with its first one of the season.

People gathered at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds on Saturday where fruits, vegetables, baskets, and jewelry were all up for sale. People got to talk with the owners of the businesses and even got to test out some product samples.

For Amaltheia Organic Dairy Farmworker Karen Page, the start of the Gallatin County Farmers market brings a unique atmosphere into the air.

"I think people are excited since this is the first one, and they are definitely excited to see all of the green stuff and all of the vegetables that we have to offer. We have a lot with season extension just to kind of maximize our vegetable availability, so that is really fun to see people kind of shocked to see what we have to offer,” said Page.

The Gallatin County Farmers market will be held every Saturday from 9 am to noon with the last one happening on September 8th.
