BOZEMAN- The city’s first-ever Communications Coordinator has moved to Bozeman and has her first week under her belt.
Melody Mileur comes from Williston, ND where she served as the Williams County Communication Officer. She said the city she served had similar growth to what Bozeman is seeing.
"It does have a lot of growth, very fast paced growth, which I think is similar to what Bozeman has been having,” said Mileur. “So, yes, I think the skills that I do bring to the position are definitely helped by the fact that I have already working in a city that has gone through a lot of growth and is still experiencing that growth.”
Mileur will be focused on bridging the gap between city government and the community to help local citizens be more informed. Mileur said she is working with her co-workers to make sure the community is more involved moving forward.
