Severe Storms Possible Wednesday & Thursday

Today’s Forecast:
Expect to see afternoon thunderstorms for your Wednesday with highs in the 70s.  Some of these storms could produce moderate hail, damaging wind, and heavy rain.  Showers are expected to be scattered throughout the area for the afternoon and evening and taper after sunset.

BOZEMAN: High – 73; Low – 48. A mild start to the day with highs in the low 70s.  Expect thunderstorms for the afternoon with a few capable of producing damaging wind and moderate hail.

BUTTE: High – 70; Low – 44. Thunderstorms are likely to develop for the afternoon and early evening with a few storms capable of producing hail and gusty wind.

DILLON: High – 71; Low – 46. Mild conditions through the early afternoon with a few strong thunderstorms during the afternoon.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High – 67; Low – 40. Scattered showers and thunderstorms likely for the afternoon and evening.


SEVERE WEATHER POTENTIAL
Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible for your Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.  A weak cold front will be moving through the area and will spark afternoon storms that will bring the possibility of moderate hail, damaging wind, and pockets of heavy rain.  Thunderstorms will taper shortly after sunset.
