GREAT FALLS – Thomas Kaz Bacon has been charged with sexually assaulting a teen in Great Falls.
Court documents allege that Bacon sexually assaulted the 14-year-old girl numerous times over the span of several weeks.
Court documents state that when he was interviewed by police, he ultimately confessed to the sexual abuse.
He reportedly confirmed everything that the victim had told police, including the progression of the abuse, and stated that he was doing this to "help her with her self-esteem."
Prosecutors requested bond for Bacon be set at $100,000, noting that although Bacon has no criminal history a high bond is appropriate given the nature of the offense and the age of the victim.
The court documents also state that reason for the high bond request is that his "behavior escalated in a very short window of time, leading the State to believe the victim and her family are at high risk from the Defendant."
