A preview of Memorial Day events in Bozeman

BOZEMAN – Len Albright of the American Legion Post 14 in Bozeman joined Chet to preview this weekend’s Memorial Day events.

The 9th Annual Memorial Day Parade and Services will be held Monday, May 28th.  The American Legion Post 14 will host a breakfast of sausage, eggs and pancakes upstairs starting at 7 am until 9 am followed by the Parade starting at 9:30 am at the intersection of 7th St. and Main St. heading east to Wallace Ave.  

Any group, organizations, or Veteran can join in the Parade as long as they sign up by Thursday. May 17th either at noon or 5:30 pm upstairs at Post 14 located at 225 E. Main St.  Contact Len Albright at 586-8400 or email: Legionpost14@gmail.com.

Immediately following the Parade, the annual Services and Gold Star Family Tribute will start at 11 am located at the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Sunset Hills Cemetery.  

Volunteers are needed to help place American flags on the 2,419 veteran grave sites starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 24. Volunteers are also needed to remove the flags on Tuesday, May 29 at 9 a.m.
