BOZEMAN – Bozeman’s Friends of the Library group held its 3rd Annual Book Donation Drive at the Public Library on Saturday.

Anyone who had any books, DVDs, or CDs that they didn’t want any more were asked to donate them to the group. The group sorts through the items that have been donated and then later sells the items to buy equipment for the Library. Last year the group raised about 50,000 dollars which went into buying new computers for the computer lab in the Library.

"On a scale of 1-10, it’s a twelve on the awesomeness scale. What the community does helps us. They both support by giving us books and material but they also support us by going and buying the materials which truly raises a fair amount of money for the library,” said Friends of the Library President Stewart Mohr.

The group’s book sale is June 22-24.
