BOZEMAN – Bozeman’s Canine Classic hosted its 6th annual K9 9K Run and 1-mile walk on Saturday.
Dogs and their owners started the course at the bottom of Peet’s Hill in Bozeman and crossed the finish line at Bogert Park. The money raised went towards canine cancer research and service dogs for veterans. Dog of all shapes, ages, and breeds got to get active while still meeting some new friends.
"Well I think my dog is more than me because she really likes being social, and that’s the reason I am doing this is to hang around people that are dog lovers and support the community,” said Ami Gjeston who ran in the race with her dog Dandy.
