BUTTE – Butte’s rescue mission Wednesday got a major financial boost to build its new homeless shelter.
Town Pump Inc. announced it is making a $400,000 donation to the rescue mission so it can build its new homeless shelter at East Platinum Street in Butte. The shelter has been without a shelter for about a year after the one on East Second Street was closed due to fire code violations.
