BOZEMAN – New developments from yesterday’s Super 8 meth lab investigations.

Police have questioned multiple people of interest in the case and have made no arrest.

The investigation is following the discovery of a small meth lab at the Bozeman Super 8 yesterday morning.

The Missouri river drug task force has called in a cleanup crew from Salt Lake City to dispose of the product and to help assess the guidelines for clean-up with the property owner.

“There’s a cleanup crew that comes from Salt Lake City, they contract with the DEA, they then take the precursors and what not as well as the end product and destroy it, and there is a cleanup issue that has to go on with the home or hotel owner. In this particular case, what happens is the contractors and DEA work with the super 8 so they understand what exactly the needs are for the clean-up," said Dan Springer Gallatin County Undersheriff.

Springer says that meth labs calls have decreased in the past few years, but is not unusual to get a case like this.
