BELGRADE – A new subdivision in Belgrade will be discussed at the Belgrade City Council meeting Tuesday night.
The proposed subdivision is on what used to be the Prescott Ranch and will be called the Prescott Ranch subdivision.
There are 595 lots for both townhomes and single-family homes proposed for the 153 acres. The subdivision will also include park space and new roads to connect it with the rest of the city.
“Things we’re going to be doing is talking to the developer about making the traffic flow as efficient as possible. So we’re not impacting any one road too much and providing good ways in and out,” said Belgrade City Planner Jason Karp.
Karp said Tuesday’s meeting will be more like a workshop where council members will work with the developers on ideas they think will work best for the development. After that, a formal application will be submitted to the planning department.
The council meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
