Esha Walia joined KBZK/MTN News in June 2025, after graduating from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a minor in journalism.
She has always enjoyed trying new things — and seeing new places — and used her time in college to discover her path. Esha found her passion for broadcast journalism while interning at The Boston Globe and going on their TV show, as well as pursuing a podcasting internship. In the fall of her senior year, she interned at a travel magazine in Sydney, Australia, known as TrulyAus. Along her journey, Esha interned at Deloitte and Boston Consulting Group in San Diego and Washington, D.C.
Esha grew up in San Diego, California, which cemented her love for the beach, walking and running, and warm weather. When she’s not on-air, you’ll find her exploring the beauty that Montana has to offer and trying to find the best iced coffee in Bozeman.
