The Missoula County Sheriff's Office issued an alert for "emergency travel" only on Interstate 90 through Missoula County due to hazardous road conditions.
The emergency travel alert issued Monday afternoon covers both eastbound and westbound lanes of I-90 through Missoula County.
Earlier Monday, the Missoula Police Department issued an "essential" only driving alert because of deteriorating road conditions.
The Ravalli County Sheriff's Office also issued an "essential only driving" alert for the Bitterroot on Monday afternoon.
