Omaha (KPTM) — The Omaha Fire Department says construction crews were working near 49th and Dodge when a worker hit a power line.
Officials say when crews got to the area they found two people who had been hurt.
The first was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The second person was also taken to the hospital.
Officials say the first person fell from a lift the crew was working on.
The Omaha Public Power District reported that at least 2,100 customers were without power.
Omaha Police say the lanes on Dodge have been reopened.
