OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOCO) — Police have released pictures of a man who they said used his cellphone to record two 14-year-old girls while they were changing inside a dressing room at Quail Springs Mall.
The mother of one of the victims said the girls are traumatized and her daughter is losing sleep because of the peeping Tom.
“It’s not better. You think it’s going to get better, but it’s not,” said Marissa, the mother of one of the victims, who didn’t want her last name released. “She was terrified.”
The girl was one of two teenagers spied on while changing in the dressing room of PacSun.
“And I will never let my girls change like that again in a place like that when I’m not there,” Marissa said.
She said her daughter is afraid of what’s next and what the man could do with what he recorded.
“I think it’s a bad, it’s just a bad reflection of where we’re at today that you have to stand outside of someone’s dressing room to make sure someone doesn’t come by and videotape you without your knowledge,” Marissa said.
The accused peeping Tom was caught in the act by a woman who confronted him, but he got away before police arrived.
Marissa said she wants the man caught before he violates someone else.
“He’s sick and he needs treatment,” she said. “I mean, he’s clearly a pedophile. He needs to be in jail.”
