ST. LOUIS, MO (KMOV) — Lambert Airport has announced that non-stop flights from St. Louis to Iceland will stop in early 2019.
The airport says the airline will discontinue the flights starting on January 7. The first flight from St. Louis to Iceland took off in August 2017.
Officials with Lambert say they are disappointed in WOW’s decision because they were told that St. Louis was one of the stronger markets for WOW in the Midwest.
Due to the announcement, officials say WOW Air does not meet the criteria for an airport incentives package.
