NORTH ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) — An investigation is underway after a 9-year-old and a man were shot in north St. Louis Sunday.
Around 8:35 p.m., officers arrived to the 8500 block of Gilmore for a report of a shooting. When they arrived they found man with a gunshot wound.
Moments later, police located a 9-year-old boy in the 8200 block of Newby suffering from a gunshot wound to leg.
The child and man were breathing and conscious when they were found. Police said their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
