Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) — High winds in downtown Las Vegas caused injuries at the “Kidz Street” Festival and forced the event to close early Saturday afternoon.

The 9th Bridge School’s 3rd annual “Kidz Street” Festival presented by Zappos was taking place downtown when gusty winds blew over a bounce house at the event, according to a festival spokesperson.

Ten attendees required medical attention at the scene for scapes with one adult transported to the hospital for further examination.

A festival representative said Jumper Man Party Rentals supplied four bounce houses for the festival and one of them came unsecured during a high wind gust.

The event was originally scheduled to run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. but was shut down at about 1 p.m.

9th Bridge School provided refunds to festival attendees at their request.
