OLATHE, KS (KCTV) — Just before 9 p.m. on Friday, a car went into a body of water near W. 103rd Street and S. Cedar Creek Parkway.
The area is just south of K-10 Highway.
The fire department said that the man was standing on top of his vehicle, which was in 5 feet of water, when the fire department arrived at the scene.
The driver was able to make it out of the car safely. He did not have to go to the hospital.
