GILBERT, Ariz. (KNXV) — A motorcyclist with an obvious need for speed was arrested Thursday morning for traveling over 100 miles per hour, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The 25-year-old motorcyclist was clocked at 106 mph near the U.S. 60 and Higley Road, DPS said in a tweet.
The rider “told the trooper he didn’t see the marked patrol car as he passed it! Slow Down; it’s better to get there safely than not at all,” DPS said.
