Former CSUB assistant professor receives probation in child pornography case

    BAKERSFIELD, Ca (KERO) — A former Cal State Bakersfield assistant professor was sentenced to probation after pleading no contest to possessing content depicting minors engaged in sexual conduct.

According to court documents obtained by 23ABC, Theodore Ishida, 64, downloaded images of females believed to be between the ages of five and 10-years-old, engaging in sexual conduct with adult men.

According to the District Attorney’s office, Ishida was sentenced to 3 years of probation and must complete 1,000 community service hours. He must also register as a sex offender and inform authorities anytime he creates a username and password online.
