HAMDEN, CT (WFSB) — Police in Hamden said they arrested a Quinnipiac University student for chasing his roommate with a knife and threatening to kill him.
Josiah Diaz-Cregan, 18, of Meriden, was involved in a verbal dispute with the roommate on Monday.
According to police, the dispute escalated into Diaz-Cregan chasing his roommate with the knife.
With help from Quinnipiac University Public Safety, Hamden police said they arrested Diaz-Cregan.
They charged him with second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct.
He was released on a $500 bond and given a court date of Sept. 17 in Meriden.
