Ocean City, MD (WMAR) — Ocean City’s ban on topless women will be the topic of a hearing next month.

The United States Circuit Court of Maryland is expected to hear the case on September 21, according to Delmarva Now.

A Salisbury woman filed a lawsuit against the ban in 2016. She and four other women say they have the legal right to go topless on the beach.

Ocean City officials say they’re in favor of the ban because they want their beaches to be family-friendly.
