MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ (KTVK) — A woman kayaking on Saguaro Lake made a grisly discovery Thursday when she spotted a head in the water.
Details were not immediately available, but the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that is was working a body recovery at the lake, east of Boat Ramp 1.
“At this point, we know that the recovered body is an adult male,” MCSO Sgt. Bryant Vanegas wrote in an email response to inquiries from the Arizona’s Family news desk.
Located in the Tonto National Forest, Saguaro Lake is a little less than an hour northeast of Phoenix.
