FELLSMERE, Fla. (WPTV) — Police in Fellsmere are looking for the person who robbed a Papa John’s pizza delivery man at gunpoint Thursday night.
The armed robbery occurred at about 9:20 p.m. in the 10040 block of Esperanza Circle.
The victim was delivering a pizza in the area when someone approached and pointed a firearm at him.
Not only did the person demand any cash in his possession but also the delivery man’s pizzas.
Police said the victim was ordered to lie on the ground and stay there for a specified amount of time until the robber left the area.
The pizza delivery man was unharmed and left as soon as he said felt safe then went to a nearby restaurant to report the crime.
