CORNELIUS, Ore. (KPTV) — Deputies served a search warrant at a Cornelius mobile home park Tuesday, seizing eight guns, hallucinogenic mushrooms and more than 80 grams of Methamphetamine, among other items, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office says.
The items were seized from a single home at Forest Hills Mobile Estates, which is in the 570 block of North 10th Avenue, the sheriff’s office says
Deputies arrested a 67-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman who were inside the home.
Clyde Edwards III, of Cornelius, faces charges of delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and eight counts of felon in possession of a weapon, the sheriff’s office says.
Brittany Ridgeway, 24, also of Cornelius, faces charges of delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and second-degree failure to appear.
During their search, deputies and investigators located meth, hallucinogenic mushrooms, prescription pills, six riles and two handguns.
Deputies served the warrant after they received information regarding possible drug activity at the home in mid-July.
After receiving the information, the sheriff’s office contacted the Westside Inter-Agency Narcotics Team, which is an inter-agency task force.
Task force investigators successfully conducted three drug buys from the home.
