BOZEMAN – A strong cold front passed through Montana Wednesday producing much colder temperatures across the state today.

Early morning showers, and freezing drizzle was observed mostly in Northern Gallatin County eastward over Bozeman Pass on I-90 this morning. The wet weather has ended by travel concerns continue as wet roads will likely become icy overnight.

A milder weather pattern will begin Thursday afternoon as a stronger westerly flow aloft develops pushing temperatures up into the 40s Thursday and mostly 50s Friday and Saturday. High pressure will lock us into a dry weather pattern as well beginning Thursday and continuing through Saturday.

NEXT WEATHER MAKER

The next round of cool, wet, and windy weather will return with a pair of pacific storms systems beginning Saturday evening through Monday morning. Forecast models show areas of rain or snow Saturday evening through Sunday evening across SW Montana but dryer weather beginning Monday.
