Turning up the heat through Friday

BOZEMAN – Another perfect weather day across Montana with temperatures in the cool 60s and 70s. A weak NW flow aloft is producing the cool and dry conditions again today but that will be ending as a High-pressure ridge begins to build tomorrow.

The flow aloft will shift out of the WSW and that should force temperatures to climb into the 80s Wednesday and nearing 90 by Thursday.

This blocking ridge pattern will force storms to lift into Canada and for the most part bypass Montana. However, the tail end of a cold front is likely to sweep across Montana this weekend and produce another cooling trend late weekend into early next week.
