BOZEMAN – Northerly flow aloft is keeping our weather pattern cold and unsettled with scattered snow showers this afternoon.

A cold front is slowly passing through Southern Montana and heading out of the state this evening. Behind the front cooler air and gusty winds with scattered snow showers through midnight Wednesday.

Greatest travel concerns this afternoon and evening is wet roads turning icy tonight into Thursday morning. Some roads are slushy covered at times and with rapidly falling temperatures tonight could lead to icy conditions.

Forecast temperatures will remain below normal through Friday and morning lows well below freezing, in fact, some morning lows could drop off into the single digits like West Yellowstone.

Over the weekend temperatures will gradually warm and we could see a few 60 degree days early next week.
