Patchy fog and light snow will take us through the first half of Wednesday.

More widespread snow is on track to move in later this afternoon. Blowing and drifting snow is likely later today, especially for the Northern portions of the Rocky Mountain front.

A Blizzard Warning is in effect for this region. Limited visibility and poor travel is likely throughout nearly all of Central Montana.

Heavier and more widespread snow is likely through the remainder of the week.

The Northern Rocky Mountain Front has the potential to receive well over a foot of snow through Friday. Great Falls and Central Montana are expected to pick up 5 to 8 inches through Friday with Helena receiving 3 to 5 inches.

Weather conditions are expected to begin improving on Sunday.
