BOZEMAN – We can’t seem to shake this repeating weather pattern so again today afternoon thunderstorms are passing through SW Montana.

Just like Sunday and Monday most of the thunderstorms will be on the drier side producing strong gusty surface winds and incredible lightning.

FIRE WEATHER WARNING

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning through 9 pm Tuesday for SW Montana.

Frequent lightning with a mix of dry and some wet thunderstorms along with gusty erratic outflow winds will increase fire danger. This weather pattern is favorable for possible new fire starts with substantial growth potential. Extreme fire behavior will impact SW Montana through sunset.
