BOZEMAN – Harsh winter weather will continue into early March for Montana. Another Arctic cold front will drop down into the state beginning Friday morning for Northern Montana and reaching SW Montana by Saturday morning.

Ahead of this front there will be areas of light snow and increasing surface winds which will produce areas of blowing snow and bitterly cold wind chill values.

This front could impact the Friday evening commute for Bozeman with snow and wind.

Over the weekend snow will diminish but the cold Arctic air will dig deeply into SW Montana and with partial clear skies at night morning lows Sunday through Tuesday will be dropping to near record cold levels.

There are numerous Winter Weather Advisories, Winter Storm Warnings and continued Flood Warnings with ice jam flooding across the state through Saturday. The above on demand STORMTracker video will walk you through the changes coming over the next 3 days.
