Several inches of snow in the way

A winter weather advisory remains in place for Beaverhead, Gallatin, and Gallatin counties through tomorrow morning. Silver Bow County (including the city of Butte) is under a winter weather advisory through 6 AM Monday for several inches of accumulating snowfall. Travel impacts will start tonight and last through at least Monday evening due to icy and snow-packed roads.

A winter storm warning will be issued for Beaverhead, Madison, and Gallatin Counties for snow and blowing snow tomorrow morning through Tuesday morning. Difficult travel is expected tonight through Tuesday morning because of snow-packed roads and low visibilities.

BOZEMAN: LOW: -2°; HIGH SUNDAY: 12°. A cold front will bring cold and snow weather to the region through Tuesday. Travel impacts are expected to start tonight with light snow moving in. Snow is expected to increase in coverage by tomorrow afternoon. 4”-8” of snow is expected through tomorrow evening. Chance of Precipitation: 100%

BUTTE: LOW: 3°; HIGH SUNDAY: 11°. Colder air will move in tonight bringing snow with it. Travel impacts are expected as early as tonight on Homestake Pass and I-15 to the north of Butte. 4”-8” of snow is expected through tomorrow evening. Chance of Precipitation: 90%

DILLON: LOW: 5°; HIGH SUNDAY: 20°. Colder air and snow are both expected to arrive later tonight. Snowfall will increase in coverage late tomorrow afternoon. 4”-7” of snow is expected through tomorrow evening. Chance of Precipitation: 90%

WEST YELLOWSTONE: LOW: 5°; HIGH SUNDAY 23°. Light snow is expected this evening with moderate to heavy snow expected throughout the day tomorrow. Travel could be difficult to impossible through Tuesday. 4”-8” of snow is expected through tomorrow evening. Chance of Precipitation: 100%
