Mild weather is expected this afternoon but changes are on the way.

City by City Forecast:

BOZEMAN:  HIGH THURSDAY: 42°. LOW: 29° a chilly start this morning will turn into a relatively mild afternoon. We’ll see more clouds this afternoon than what we’re seeing now. Snow chances will increase after 3 am tonight. Under an inch of snow can be expected.

BUTTE:  HIGH THURSDAY: 40°. LOW: 20° a mild and partly cloudy afternoon is expected. Clouds will increase this evening followed by the potential for snow after midnight tonight. Under an inch of snow accumulation is expected.

DILLON: HIGH THURSDAY: 41°. LOW: 25° mostly clear to start, this will transition into partly cloudy skies this afternoon. Dillon will remain mainly dry with the potential for some light snow showers tomorrow morning. Little to no snow accumulation is expected.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: HIGH THURSDAY 32°. LOW: 15° mostly cloudy this afternoon with the chances of snow increasing overnight. 1”-3” inches of snow can be expected for West Yellowstone.

 NEXT WEEK

Snow chances will taper off by noon tomorrow. We’ll be dry and cold this weekend with many locations struggling to make it to the freezing mark. Right now, there’s the potential to see accumulating snowfall on Christmas Eve night. It doesn’t look like a wash for travel but things could change.
