Near Seeley Lake, a busy gas station reports they're having trouble enforcing mask wearing.

The Sinclair gas station at Clearwater Junction is on the intersection of Highway 83, and Highway 200.

Employees said they always sees cars with license plates from all across the country, but in the middle of a pandemic, that presents unique challenges.

Cashier Susan Monahan told MTN News people have been hostile, calling her names, and coming up with excuses when asked to put on a face covering.

She adds it's frustrating, especially with a sign on the door reminding people about the mandate. And even though she loves her job, she's tired of dealing with people.

"You have people just go absolutely ballistic over it. I had one woman from Kentucky tell me you can't get coronavirus here, and we're a bunch of idiots for wearing masks," said Susan.

She also said even with the issues, many people are wearing the mask and people seem to comply more the longer the mandate lasts.
