A 20-year old man died after falling from a ridge in Glacier National Park on Tuesday.
A news release says that it happened when the man fell from a ridge known as the Dragon’s Tail in Glacier National Park on Tuesday evening.
The Dragon's Tail is a steep, off-trail climbing route southwest of Mount Reynolds near Logan Pass.
The man fell several hundred feet toward Hidden Lake at around 7:30 pm.
Search and rescue efforts began immediately after Glacier National Park dispatchers received the report of his fall.
A Two Bear Air helicopter located and recovered the body.
The man's name has not yet been released.
According to The Outbound: "Dragon's Tail is a ridge line that overlooks Hidden Lake... The hike isn't too far from Logan's Pass Visitor Center."
