BOZEMAN — Bridger Brewing announced Tuesday plans for a second location in Three Forks that will include, along with an additional brewery, a live-music amphitheater, grill, taproom, and distribution facility.

The Bozeman-based brewery said in a press release groundbreaking is planned for Spring 2020, and the new location will be near the Copper City Trails on Highway 287 in Broadwater County.

"We are looking forward to participating in the local community of Three Forks and really getting to know our new neighbors,” Brewmaster and Director of Operations Daniel Pollard said in the release.

Pollard added the new facility will help Bridger Brewing streamline its keg and can distribution while offering a "destination brewery experience."

According to Bridger's promotional landing page, the new production brewery will allow for the canning and distribution of its beers. The restaurant will feature familiar favorites from the Bozeman location's flagship menu, along with expanded offerings at the new location.

Co-owner David Breck said in the press release informal talks with area entertainment promoters are in the early stages for the new location's state-of-the-art amphitheater.

“Live outdoor music will definitely be a part of the draw at our second location. However, any relationship or arrangement with any other parties regarding the development of our music venue is still in its early stages and nothing has been formalized,” Breck said.

Bridger Brewing said on adventureisbrewing.com the amphitheater will help accommodate the Gallatin Valley's need for "an outdoor venue that can handle the size and quality of live acts that come through Montana every summer."

The amphitheater plans to offer a full slate of shows starting in 2021.

Bridger Brewing opened its first location in Bozeman across from the Montana State University campus in 2013.
