BOZEMAN — Bozeman Health received a donation of 2,500 KN95 masks on Tuesday.
The donation came from Summit Resources Imports out of Bozeman, a company that has spent years networking within the personal protective equipment market abroad.
Sean Gallinger says the company has been able to secure 5,000 masks all across the state of Montana, which also went to Billings Clinic and the Central Montana Medical Center in Lewistown.
Gallinger says they were also able to donate 11,000 KN95 masks to the state of Wyoming.
“I can’t sew, I don’t own a 3D printer, but one thing I can do, I have 25 years experience of finding product that’s highly regulated from a US standpoint and PPE and flame resistant high visibility, and I wanted to figure out how to use those resources,” said Gallinger.
Summit Resources Imports said they were able to secure 16,000 KN95 masks in 7 days.
