BOZEMAN — The new Black Olive Apartment units located in downtown Bozeman will try the city's first car sharing program.

The five-story building will offer 47 one and two bedroom apartments available for lease and will offer different amenities including a car sharing program for tenants.

The project manager says while people haven't moved into the apartments yet, people touring them have expressed interest.

“It's the first of its kind here in Bozeman. It's been allowable by the code for years but we're the first to take advantage of it. And we really think it's a nice amenity for the residents,” said Andrew Gault, project manager at Homebase Partners.

“It’s a good way to cut down on cars number of cars and overall car usage in the city and surrounding area.”

The Black Olive apartments are located on the corner of Black and Olive in downtown Bozeman.

Residents will begin moving in early December.
