BOZEMAN, Mont. – If you plan on shooting fireworks in Bozeman you might want to pay attention to these city rules.

You can shoot fireworks July 3rd through July 5th between noon and midnight. If you’re headed to the fireworks stand you need to make sure your sparkers are less 12” in length, nothing that will fly 15 or more feet up into the air, and the purchase of wheels with up to 6 driver units or tubes. It also matters where you choose to shoot your fireworks

You can’t shoot fireworks on private property without permission, major arterial streets, and alleys. You can’t use your fireworks within 300 feet of a public park, 1000 feet of any hospital or assisted care facility, on or under a motor vehicle, and within 300 feet of any gas station.
