BOZEMAN, Mont. – The construction of Bozeman’s new high school has been underway for quite some time now and has made a lot of progress.

The high school is set to open in the fall of 2020 and is currently three weeks ahead of its construction schedule.

As of right now, the site has 75 people working each day and the project is still in the first quarter.

“What we’re looking at in this rendering here, this is a view looking west, this is comprised of eight classrooms, labs, and some storage and teacher planning space,” said Architect Nathan Helfrich of CTA Architects Engineers.

The building will have an enormous, bright commons area with glass walls that will have several uses.

The library is set to be two floors, and the cafeteria will have 600 seats.

The competition gym and auditorium will have 2,500 seats, while the two auxiliary gyms will have 200 seats each.

Plenty of space, for plenty of kids.

The project itself has been smooth according to planners, and as the permits from the city come in, they continue to build.

The plan is to enclose as much possible so the work can continue through the winter.
