BOZEMAN, Mont. – According to a Montana State University alert, three men attempted a robbery in Gallatin Hall early Wednesday morning.
MSU police responded around 1:30 a.m. to a report of several men wrestling over a black handgun outside one of the residence hall’s rooms. The reporting party said the assailant ran out a rear door with two of the other men.
According to the alert, the three men fled Gallatin Hall in a red Dodge Ram pickup truck with a grill guard, heading west on Garfield Street toward 19th Avenue.
The suspects are still at large.
