HAMILTON – Law enforcement report that a child died in a hit-and-run crash near Hamilton on Sunday afternoon.
Ravalli County Sheriff Steve Holton tells MTN News that the victim — who died on Sunday afternoon — was 10 or 11 years old. The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
Authorities are looking for Joseph McNamara, 59, who is a suspect in the crash that occurred on Golf Course Road at approximately 1 p.m. on Sunday.
McNamara was last seen in the 1400 block of Golf Course Road and was believed to be on foot.
